This site (tearoom.afternoon-tea.hk) ("this Site") has been especially designed by Tearoom (HK) Ltd for customers using its online shopping services. This Site is owned and operated by Tearoom (HK) Ltd ("Tearoom", "we", "us" and "our").

If you wish to use the Tearoom online shopping services or browse the Tearoom online store or otherwise use this Site, please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using this Site. By accessing, browsing or using this Site or any part of it, you agree that you have read these Terms and Conditions and that you accept and agree to be bound by them.

 

1.       GENERAL

 

1.1  In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions shall apply:

(a)"Customer" means any person who accesses and uses this Site, and places an order with us including (without limitation) you.

(b) "Product(s)" means any and all products offered for sale on Tearoom online store as at the time of actual transaction.

(c) "Order" means the Order submitted by you to the Platform to purchase a Product from us;

 

1.2  We have the absolute discretion to make changes to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice to you. A copy of the latest version of these Terms and Conditions is available on this Site.

 

2.       REGISTRATION

 

2.1 To place an Order, you must register with us by creating an Account on the Platform. You shall provide, true, accurate and complete registration and ordering information. All information submitted to us will be treated in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

 

2.2 You shall not misuse the Platform by creating multiple user accounts.

 

3.       ORDER

 

3.1 Any order you make for products in this site, we will confirm your order by sending you a confirmation email containing the Order receipt. Where applicable, Order will include delivery fees.

 

3.3 We reserve the right to not accept your order for any reason that we deem appropriate in our sole and absolute discretion, including without limitation if we are unable to obtain authorization for payment, if shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, if the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or if you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out within our terms and conditions.

 

3.2 We reserve the right to withdraw any Products from this site at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this site. We will make our best efforts to always process all Orders but there may be exceptional circumstances wherein, we may need to refuse to process an Order after we have sent you an Order Confirmation, which we reserve the right to do at any time, at our sole discretion.

If we cancel your Order and you have already made payment for your Order, the payment amounts will be fully refunded to you.

 

3.3 We will not be liable to you or any other third party by reason of our withdrawing any Product from this Platform, whether it has been sold or not, removing or editing any materials or contents on this Platform or for refusing to process or accept an Order.

 

4.       PAYMENT

 

4.1 We accept payment online by PayPal, Visa and MasterCard credit cards. By using the online payment system, you represent and warrant that you have obtained your credit or debit cards legally and have the capacity to enter into an online payment transaction. Payment will be charged against your card at the time of order. Your order cannot be revised or cancelled after completion of your online payment.

 

4.2 E-gift cards and promotional vouchers must be entered online only.

 

5.       SHIPPING

 

5.1 Free delivery service will be provided for each order with net spending of HK$301 or above (only applicable for local order, after discount and after e-coupon/ promotion code discount).

 

5.2  All expected delivery dates and times are estimates only, and you will receive prior notification from us in relation to actual delivery arrangement once your order and delivery are confirmed. For any orders placed by you for delivery by Tearoom online store, we shall use reasonable endeavours to deliver the Products ordered to the delivery address provided by you, Tearoom shall not be liable for any delays, change of delivery time or non-delivery for causes beyond its control.

 

5.3  Tearoom (in its sole discretion) will only provide delivery to Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Delivery service will not be applicable to Outlying Islands and remote areas, including Tung Chung, Ma Wan and Discovery Bay. Delivery service will not be provided on Sunday and public holiday.

 

5.4  All deliveries shall be made to the entrance of delivery address which you provided. You are required to sign off on the delivery note as receipt of the delivery (except where you have specifically instructed Tearoom to leave the delivery outside the door, and you acknowledged that such delivery shall be at your own risk). You shall ensure that a person who is authorized to receive the order is present at the specified time of delivery to receive the order and sign off the delivery note. If no person is present, the delivery shall be withdrawn and attempted at another time agreed. In such circumstances, Tearoom reserves the right to charge you an extra delivery fee.

 

5.5  Tearoom reserves the right to decline delivery of the Products to any Customers at its sole discretion absolutely.

 

5.6  We deliver in our standard packaging.

 

6.       RETURN OF PRODUCTS / REFUND

 

6.1 Under normal circumstances, unless approved by Tearoom at its sole discretion, Tearoom will not accept any request for return or refund of Products upon delivery or collection of Products.

 

6.2  Tearoom shall use reasonable efforts to ensure that orders are correctly fulfilled and shall deal with any discrepancies in the following manner, provided they are reported via the below channels in accordance with the timelines specified below:

 

6.2.1 If any Product proves to have been delivered or provided for pick-up in a damaged condition, expired, omitted in the delivery/pick-up, or if a wrong Product is delivered/provided for pick-up, Tearoom shall refund to the Customer the Price of that subject Product or replace the subject Product within 10 days of receipt of the delivery or pick-up.

 

6.2.2 Customers can raise the refund request by contact our customer service for refund request within the aforesaid 10 days by sending email to athk@tearoom.com.hk or by phone at 2663-0991.

 

6.2.3 Product must be in original packing or must not be used.

 

6.2.4 All refund / exchange needs to be process at any our shop in Hong Kong upon your request is accepted.

 

6.2.5 Tearoom’s total liability to any Product delivered/picked up in the aforesaid circumstances is limited to refund of the Price of the Product or replacement specified above. All other remedies are expressly excluded.

 

6.2.6 Refunds shall be credited to the same credit card account which the Customer used for placing the order.

 

6.2.7 In case of dispute, Tearoom reserves the right of final decision.
